Vassar Clements

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of the great fiddler Vassar Clements. Vassar's great talent was only overshadowed by his greatness as a human being. He was in high demand most of his life as a session player whose talent transcended genre. He did not read or write music but his keen ear allowed him to play exquisitely in whatever setting he found himself. He will be sadly missed and the barn boys give a big tip of the hat to one of the best fiddlers who ever lived.
